Trace Mayer holds degrees in accounting and law and has studied Austrian economics. He started recommending Bitcoin around $0.25 and funded core blockchain infrastructure including:

Biography

Trace Mayer is an entrepreneur, investor, journalist, monetary scientist and ardent defender of the freedom of speech. He holds degrees in accounting and law. He has studied Austrian economics focusing on the work of Murray Rothbard and Ludwig von Mises.

In 2008 during the worldwide financial crisis he wrote The Great Credit Contraction explaining the causes and likely effects. Shortly thereafter he was among the first popular blogger to publicly recommend the revolutionary blockchain technology Bitcoin with market capitalization under $2m. Then he started funding core blockchain infrastructure including
